Times Square

Monday we took a trip to the city to see the Harry Potter Exhibition at Times Square.  The exhibit was neat, props and costumes used in the movies, but they didn't allow photography, so this is the only Harry Potter picture we got : (

Afterward, we walked around Times Square.  John let the kids get their picture taken with Woody and Spider Man, but he wouldn't let me get my picture taken with the naked cowboy who was walking around : (

Next we decided to hoof it over to the Intrepid Museum.  We arrived at 4:05PM, but the last ticket to the museum is sold at 4:00PM.  Bwahhhhh, 5 minutes too late!  At least we were able to walk along the pier and still see some stuff, like the Space Shuttle : )

Next we headed back to Times Square for a yummy dinner at Junior's before heading home.

 

Heading home we confirmed what we have suspected for a long time that Lola (our GPS) is a useless cretin.  However, we eventually got out of the city and hey, if we hadn't been on the "scenic tour" we never would have seen Yankee Stadium or the Bronx Zoo : )
