(Some of these pics are older, but I just got my hands on John's phone to download them. I need to remember to do that more often.)
There's a ton of frogs and toads at our new house. We've taken the kids out at night with flash lights to go "toad hunting." We don't catch them, we just like to see how many we can find. It's pitch black out here at night and it's amazing how loud the frogs and toads are. With a good flash light and following the sound of their croaks we can usually find them pretty easily. We also get lots of toad poop on our front porch which is super gross. We found this guy when we were moving our swimming pool yesterday morning.
I keep telling Gabe he is going to break his nose if he crashes on his bike wearing his helmet this way, but he thinks he looks cool so he doesn't care. And yes, those are swim goggles and sadly you can't see the skeleton gloves he was also wearing. The kid's got style : )
Gabe just finished his first week at Cub Scout Camp and had a blast! John and Porter joined him on Friday night for some family fun.
We're loving our backyard fire pit!
This picture is for you Grammy : )
Are we the only people in Oklahoma who stop and help turtles cross the road? We saved a huge one the other day, but my phone battery was dead so I couldn't get a picture of it. Seriously, it was huge, bigger than Gabe's head!
John spent a week in Georgia getting up close and personal with the helicopters he works on.
