John was assigned last minute to a crash investigation that would take him to New Mexico over the 4th of July.  Not wanting to be alone for the holiday and having no prior commitments, we decided that I would load the kids (and dogs) into the car and drive to Utah for the holiday.  And then, with work wrapping up earlier than expected John was able to join us for a couple of days at the end of the week!
