For the service project we made backpacks out of t-shirts.
Lots and lots of sewing!
Then we filled the bags with blankets, stuffed animals, toiletries, books, crayons, etc. These bags will be given to kids entering the foster care system. Our goal was to help provide them with something of comfort/security that was their own.
Our goal was to make 20 bags.
That's 36 bags piled in the back of my car!!!
