Stream of Visitors Comes to an End

John's parents - aka Grandpa Wayne & Grandma Rosie - visited us over the Memorial Day weekend.  It was especially fun for John to see them since he hasn't seen in almost a year now.  (Gabe & I went home in December and got to visit all of our family while John was in Alabama.)  It was a great time for his parents to come and visit since he had so much time off of work this weekend.  They flew in on Thursday afternoon, Friday was a family day so John was home, Saturday and Sunday he was home, and Monday was a holiday.  So he ended up only having to take one day of leave on Tuesday and was able to spend a ton of time with his Mom and Dad while they were here.  

Here's the highlights from their trip:

1.  John set apart as EQ president in our ward

2.  Wayne visited Snuffy Ross an old friend from the Navy.  The rest of us went to the Aquarium in Cincinnati.

3.  Amish Country!  This was the one thing John's parents really wanted to do while they were here.  So we took them to Lehman's store and it was like taking kids to a candy shop!  They loved it and have already started making their wish lists!  Rose also found the Amish made kitchen table and chairs that she wanted in the first furniture store we stopped at.  

4.  John took his parents to the Air Force museum on Monday morning.  That afternoon we had lunch/dinner and dessert at The Greene and let Gabe play in the water fountain there.  

To all of our family who have been to visit us in the last month:  Thank you, we love you, and hope you will come again.  It's been a crazy, busy month, but we loved our time with each of you!
