Porter's birthday and baptism were on Saturday. On Sunday, John and I left our kids with his super awesome parents and headed to Branson to celebrate our 15 year anniversary!
Our trip got off to a "great" start by us eating lunch at a super gross buffet. Seriously, the spaghetti noodles were blue! However, that's the stuff memories are made of. Blue noodles.πππ
With bellies full of blue noodles, our next stop, the Titanic Museum.
No, the museum is not about the movie, but this spot (by Jack & Rose) was the only place they allowed photography inside : ( The museum was great, we both loved it, & would highly recommend it.
Hiking at Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area
Exploring caves is fun . . . until you find someone living in oneπ
The dogwood trees were in bloom! They were beautiful!
Next stop, College of the Ozarks. A Christian based liberal arts college that doesn't charge tuition. Students work for the college while going to school & leave debt free. Our meal was prepared and served by students, even the food we ate was grown/raised there on campus. And it was by far the best food we had on our trip!
John was complaining that all the pictures from our trip were going to be the same selfies in different locations. This is him trying to mix things up a bit . . . and a glimpse of my future perhaps.πππ
I like our selfies : )
Campus church
After walking around the campus we enjoyed our yummy dinner!
Apparently, the thing to do in Branson is "see a show." We chose the Dixie Stampede. It was fun, but it was also the first and last show we'll see in Branson : ) We just aren't show people . . .
Next stop Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Thorn Crown Chapel
Downtown Eureka Springs
We saw lots of cool things, like this cat and lots of weird things too.
The Crescent Hotel, it's rumored to be haunted and it fits the part well.
Kayaking on Lake Taneycomo

What a fun trip! I loved all your selfies...and yes, that will be your future as it is my present! I'm so glad you could do this and have all the fun times you had. May your next 15 be even greater than the first. You guys are an awesome couple and I admire your marriage and how you both have grown in the last 15 years. Love you both! XOXO
