Since we didn't do any betting, we spent our time in-between races just hanging out, reading up on the horses and jockeys like we knew what we were doing. We only stuck around for 3 of the 12 races since the kids didn't like all the waiting in-between races (and it was hot)!
Saratoga is the oldest active sporting venue in the United States. Horses like Man o' War and Secretariat have raced here. Quentin followed the time honored tradition of wearing a hat to the race track . . . the rest of us have sunburns.
