I have to take a break from our Utah vacation posts and share the following:
When we moved to New York we decided to do no TV at our house, meaning we have no cable or satellite service, or even an antenna. Anything we watch comes via Netfilx, the Internet, or DVD. This has been great for our family until we realized we were going to miss the Olympic games.
The easiest solution seemed to be to get an antenna for the TV so we could get local channels and see the Olympics that way on NBC. Well, my husband is an engineer so before going out and buying an antenna he tried to make one at home. However, while John was behind the TV fiddling with wires trying to make something work, Gabe was playing around with wires in front of the TV and he figured out how to make it work! A wire touching a bottle of water! It works, we get an awesome picture, and it cost us nothing! Gabe, you're a genius! You may have discovered this by accident, but you discovered it and we've been enjoying the Olympic games all week because of you! Thanks buddy!
And to end, here's a Gabeism for you:
Me: Stop picking your nose!
Gabe: I'm not picking my nose, I'm just scratching the inside!
