Your five year old asks you questions like:
"Why are your arms so fat?"
or
"Mommy, when you're not fat anymore, can we . . ."
And while placing both hands on your rather large bosoms he says, "These just keep getting bigger and bigger every day."
Yeah, I think I might be preggers.
The other day I was looking through pictures on the computer and came across pictures taken during my first trimester. Seeing the pictures reminded me of how sick I was and it seriously made me physically ill all over again. I'm so ready to be done with this baby making business! Although, I will confess, I like the large bosoms part, it's the only time in my life I'm ever well endowed : )
In other news, here's what's been going on around here lately:
John and Gabe went camping with the scouts two weeks ago. The weather was cold and wet, but they went anyway. First thing Gabe did on the hike to their campsite was splash in puddles of water, successfully soaking his only pair of shoes. Luckily, I had unintentionally packed him four pairs of socks. I only meant to pack him two extra pair, but my pregnant forgetful brain forgot I had already packed the extra pairs, so I packed them again and he ended up with four pairs. So thankfully, he had lots of dry socks to change into and he was able to stay reasonably warm even with the wet shoes.
While they were gone camping Porter and I chilled together. I put him in the tub on Friday night and I sat down to do some stuff on the computer. After a while I realized I could no longer hear any noise coming from the bathroom. I thought he'd drowned it was so quiet. I went running into the bathroom certain I was going to find a mother's worst nightmare, but instead I found this.
Yep, he was being quiet, because he was getting into trouble. John asked if I got mad at Porter for the mess he made. Uh, no. How could I be mad at him when just moments before I thought I'd killed him? Never been so happy to clean up a mess in my life!
Do you think it's time to cut the grass when you can't see the rabbit hiding in it?
John left for Alabama on Monday. So the boys and I made a chain to count the days until daddy comes home, then we just kept adding to it. So now the kids (and me) can visually see the number of days until John comes home, Grammy gets here, our baby's born, Papa gets here, and finally Emma gets here. We are all super excited for the next few weeks!!!
Since John's been gone we've had yuck rainy weather, so I went all Becky Homecky the last two days. I made a new nursing cover and then things got really out of hand when I pulled out the ric rac for the car seat cover. Ric rac may be no big deal to some of you, but for someone like me who couldn't sew a straight line even if the lives of my children depended on it, this was huge! So here's my finished baby projects (and trust me there are no straight lines, but lots of cuteness).
And finally here's a couple Gabeisms:
1. While playing Mario Cart on the Wii with Porter I noticed that there were three players, instead of just two. When I asked Gabe why there were three players he said, "It's so Porter doesn't come in last place every time." How sweet is that? Gabe is getting really good at Mario Cart. He can beat me every time and has even beaten John a few times. He's looking forward to challenging Uncle Taylor . . .
2. While drinking a vegetable/fruit drink. "This drink is super healthy. If you drink 100 of them, you'd be the best person in the whole world. If you drank 200 of them, you'd be Jesus."

You'd be Jesus. LOL so funny. Your covers are so very cute!
You forgot to mention the new table you have everything sitting on :) Glad you are finding things to pass the time these last few weeks, if you need to kill some more time just give me a call we can catch up some more!
Your kids are so funny and so cute! I'm glad you share their funny moments! I love the covers...straight lines don't matter if you can make something that cute.
Love it! Good work, too.
Katie had her baby today. You're so close!
