We spent our Labor Day at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The Jousting Match and Human Combat Chess were our favorite events! Unfortunately, our knight lost the jousting competition. That's her lying in the dirt.
Gabe thought it was so cool there were "real" knights and people with "real" swords walking around! Notice he got his picture taken with the real knight, not the girl knight.
Porter had fun with the ropes and picking rocks up off the ground.

Waif: a homeless and helpless person, esp. a neglected or abandoned child.

Jacob's reply to seeing these pictures. "Why does Gabe get to see the knight?" I think he may be a little jealous of his friends :) Looks like a lot of fun though!
Cute pictures! We went 3 years ago and it was so much fun. We need to go again before we move.
