Tools of the Trade

Gabe has begun offering haircuts to John and I. (I think our neighbor Josh may have gotten one too. Sorry, Josh!)

A haircut from Gabe consists of Gabe approaching you with his toolbox, asking you if you would like a haircut, pulling a pair of pliers out of his tool box and yanking several hairs out of your head with the pliers. Then he exclaims, "Look, haircut!" I love that he is creative, but OUCH!

That is funny. At least it can't really cut. Adyson is insisting in holding scissors and pretending to cut right next to your hair. I know that one of these days she will actually cut.

Let's see a few lost hairs or a dismantle vehicle, washer, vaccum. Wait until he learns what the tools can really do.

Hopefully he doesn't start using a saw!

Hmmm...When I was Gabe's age, I learned how to use a screwdriver by turning the screws on the electrical faceplates in our home. Mom said that I cracked EVERY faceplate in the house as I tightened each screw!
