Breakfast with Santa

On Saturday morning Jan (Gabe's church grandma) took us to have breakfast with Santa. Gabe was excited to see Santa, but wasn't quite sure what to do once he got on his lap. It was really nice to have Jan there to help us keep an eye on Gabe. While John and I waited in line for breakfast and then again to sit on Santa's lap, Jan took Gabe off to play so he was happily entertained. (Where was she when we visited the St. Louis Arch?) Thanks Jan for being so good to us and for helping us make some fun Christmas memories! We really love you and appreciate all you do for us!

Jim, we missed you, but hope you enjoy the pictures. Here's a story I shared with Jan that I think you will appreciate: The other day Gabe asked if he could watch a movie and I told him "no TV". The next thing I knew he had put a DVD into my computer and was watching the movie on the computer! How's that for creative 2 year old problem solving?

What fun friends. That is very smart of Gabe, to follow what you said and still do what he wanted. :)

Uhmm. What did John ask Santa for?

Was Santa OK with John sitting on his lap?

Yup, I'm afraid he has his Papa's smarts. Well done Gabe!
