My Thanksgiving Thankfulls

1.  The Gospel:  I am so thankful for the church in my life!  For the light, knowledge and direction it gives me in this scary world.  I am thankful for the peace it brings to my life, my home and my family.  I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ, for the sacrifice he made for each of us.  I am thankful for eternal families!  Knowing that I can be with my family forever brings me such joy!

2.  My Family:  I am so thankful for ALL my family!  I am so thankful to have a husband who works hard to provide for our family so I can stay home and be a mom.  I am so thankful for Gabe and for his enthusiasm for life.  He has brought so much joy & fun to our little family!

3.  Technology:  This one is kind of strange, but it is something I am truly thankful for.  I am thankful for computers, email, blogs, and phones.  Staying in touch with friends and family makes me feel like we don't live quite so far away.

4.  People with Wings:  I am so thankful for all the people who have taken our little family under their wings and cared for us.
While John was attending USU I worked everyday with the sweetest ladies in the world . . . and Marty.  We went through a lot together and I will always be grateful to them for taking such good care of us!  I was pregnant with Gabe while working in that office.  Going to work everyday was like going to work with 3 of my moms.  I was so spoiled!  To Nancy, Colleen, and Karen: we love you and miss you!
It wasn't long before Gabe had a set of adoptive grandparents here in Dayton.  To Grandma Jan and Papa Jim: It is a blessing to have you in our lives and a comfort knowing you're always there for us!

5.  Freedom:  I love America and am so thankful to live in this country.  I am thankful for the men and women, past and present, who've paid for my freedom with their lives.  I am thankful for the men and women who wake up half a world away and go to work everyday to continue to preserve the freedoms we often take for granted.
Papa Jim: The other day Jan told us about what "you were fighting for" and it meant a lot to us. Our country is blessed to have men like you fighting for us!  Have a Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe!
