I'm Learning That's Just Life

"I am responsible for my attitude toward the inevitable misfortunes that darken life. Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself.”
~Walter Anderson
One of these days I will learn how to roll with the punches. Until then, thanks to all of you who have been so supportive of my struggle to deal with this thing we call life. Learn, grow, move on. I'm working on it. If only I'd been blessed with a more "cheerful disposition". . .

You may not think that you got a cheerful disposition, but you did get my "quirky personality" so at least we understand each other when nobody else does! I love you just the way you are and the fact that you can find wonderful quotes like these and grasp them shows just how amazing you are...cheerful or not!
