Niagara Falls

All the kids in front of American Falls!
Porter, Connor, Gabe, Abigail, Jacob, & Benjamin
All geared up to board the Maid of the Mist!
Here you can see the boat nearing Horseshoe Falls. I wasn't expecting the boat ride to be a thrill ride, but it my opinion, it was awesome! The boat got so close to the falls! It made me feel very small and insignificant sitting there . . . waiting to capsize. Gabe and Porter both freaked out at one point, but quickly calmed down and enjoyed the ride.
Lunch break at Hard Rock Cafe
Despite being wet from the boat ride and the rain,
we went back for some more time at the falls!

Palmyra, New York

We spent the past weekend in upstate New York. On Friday we spent the day visiting some important places in our church's history. For more information about Joseph Smith and the places we visited click here. Here's a few of the pictures from our trip. It was so beautiful!

The Joseph Smith home.
The Sacred Grove
A random, but very pretty waterfall.
I made John pull over so I could take a picture of it.
Peter Whitmer farm
Gabe in front of the Palmyra temple.
On top of the Hill Cumorah
As we were leaving the Hill Cumorah the kids found these leaves.
What a great way to end the day!

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken with my dad while we were in Utah. (This is my last Utah post, I promise!) My cousin Chelsey took the pictures and did an awesome job. Check out her website here. I'm using the picture she took of just my family on our Christmas cards this year, so you're going to have to wait to see that picture, but here's some of my other favorites.

Time with D

FISHING ON THE AF RIVER
Papa's got a fish on!
Can you see the fish John caught?
Here Gabe's touching it.
Ah, it's so cute and tiny.
(Just what every fisherman wants to hear.)
Hey, at least you caught something, right?
