More of July & All of August 2018

When you live in Oklahoma and it's too hot to be outside, you spend a lot of time at the water park.
Date night : )
Found this guy after he'd just eaten an egg.  When I started chasing him with a rake he spit the egg out still fully intact.
Gabe flew on an airplane all by himself to spend a week in Utah with Grandpa Wayne & Grandma Rosie.
One of his favorite parts of his trip was rock hunting with Grandpa Wayne & some of his cousins.
 Dinosaur National Monument
Meanwhile back at the ranch, John and I were entertaining these two, who are WAY TOO BIG to be riding in a shopping cart!
But, they think it's pretty cool when they get their very own wave pool.
Eating breakfast, in your swimsuit, with a box on your head, while playing battleship.  Just a normal morning at our house.
The boys all dressed to play hide and seek in the dark!
Another date night.  What?!  Two in one month!!!  This time to see Queens Ryche.  I felt about nine tattoos shy of fitting in with the rest of the crowd.
 First Day of School!
Porter is in fourth grade and Q is in first.
Gabe started sixth grade and middle school!😱
This little guy fell sound asleep during his first groom.
Is he not the most precious thing ever?

Q enjoying the simple things in life, like jumping on the trampoline with an umbrella.
Loving our daily backyard harvest.

July 2018

John was assigned last minute to a crash investigation that would take him to New Mexico over the 4th of July.  Not wanting to be alone for the holiday and having no prior commitments, we decided that I would load the kids (and dogs) into the car and drive to Utah for the holiday.  And then, with work wrapping up earlier than expected John was able to join us for a couple of days at the end of the week! Prepare yourself for photo overload : )
