Celebrating John's birthday at The Black Raven

Grandpa Wayne & Grandma Rosie spent Christmas with us.

Playing Speak Out with the missionaries is always a family favorite, but playing with Grandma Rosie was even better!

Gabe earned his Weblo Patch, Religious Knot, & Arrow of Light award.  Can't believe he is no longer a cub scout : (

 Gabe's 11th Birthday!

For his birthday dinner he chose crab legs, artichokes, pineapple, and ice cream sandwiches for dessert.

Mom fail . . . I didn't have enough candles to put on his ice cream sandwich.  But luckily, we had seven candles and the number four, and seven plus four equals eleven!

For Thanksgiving we kept our tradition of wearing fancy hats for dinner.  Only instead of finding hats from around the house I took the kids to the dollar store and we bought the supplies we needed to make our hats.  I think they turned out awesome!
